In perhaps a new low in Indian politics, the Left's anti-India ideology stands exposed. 2 days ago renowned scholar Parth Chaterjee in an article in The Wire insulted the Indian Army by comparing Major Gogoi with Gen Dyer who carried out the Jalianwala Bagh massacre.
Now going a step ahead Prakash Karat, the CPM leader has criticized Indian Army and General Bipin Rawat and called them stooges of Modi government. It is worth noting that Prakash Karat's wife is the sister of Radhika Roy, wife of Prannoy Roy, against whom CBI had conducted raids in a case of financial fraud. It seems Prakash Karat has lost his mind after seeing his close relatives in trouble. Immediately after the CBI raids yesterday, NDTV and opposition parties started alleging witch hunt and an attempt to silence voice of dissent. Even politicians like Arvind Kejriwal and Congress leaders and TMC leaders who are themselves neck deep in corruption allegations have come out in support of Prannoy Roy. This surely indicates that CBI raids have rattled the feathers of the corrupt and now they are showing this bon homie to try and pressurize the government to lay off their backs.
Every time we think that Indian politicians have touched a new low, they stoop lower but this time they have crossed all the limits by targeting the Indian Army to gain political mileage. Shamelessness knows no boundaries for these traitors who question those who give up their lives to protect them. What also demands pondering is the fact these outbursts against the Army has suddenly increased in the last 3 days since NIA started its crackdown on Kashmiri separatists. There seems to be a concentrated effort by these traitors within the country to start an anti-Indian government anti-Indian army debate so that focus is shifted from the real face of Kashmir issue and somehow Indian army gets portrayed as the cause for Kashmir unrest.
