The political life of Aam Aadmi Party seems to be coming to an end. If the internal strife was not enough of a headache for the party leadership, the upcoming presidential elections has proved be an awkward situation for the Aam Aadmi Party. As per a senior leader and member of the Political affairs committee of AAP, no other political party has approached AAP for consultations on the Presidential elections to be held in July.
AAP has been constantly getting isolated in the political scene of the country. Last month Congress had invited all opposition parties for a meeting but AAP was completely left out. Though the Aam Aadmi Party has held discussions with CPI, RJD and TMC, the main opposition parties Congress and NCP have distanced themselves from the party which is understandable given the vile and personal attacks on their leaders by Kejriwal which forged his political foundations.
It seems not only the other senior leaders of AAP but even the leaders from other parties are wary of Arvind Kejriwal and don't want to show themselves in anyway associated with him.
“No major political party has approached us for our support", a senior AAP leader and a member of the Political Affairs Committee, the party's highest decision making body, said.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise because since the time AAP is formed their party leaders’ main focus is to do blame game more than the actual development.
