Indians all across the globe are looking forward to PM Modi's US Visit. PM Modi is expected to meet US President Donald Trump today. Issues ranging from terrorism to HIB Visas are likely to be discussed. America is well aware that India now has a 'world leader'. PM Modi's 'Gujarat model' is working on the international scale too. This is the same country which banned our great leader from entering the US, but revoked the ban once Narendra Modi was elected Prime Minister.
On Sunday, PM Modi addressed the Indian diaspora and met 21 CEOs of US-based companies. PM Modi spoke about 'technology-driven governance' and its impact in creating a modern India.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Amazon's Jeff Bezos and Adobe's Shantanu Narayen were among the 21 CEOs that held discussions with PM Modi. Google's Sundar Pichai said that he was super excited to see PM Modi again. Pichai termed Modi as the 'most effective leader in the world'. Pichai said that all the 21 CEOs were carefully listening to what PM Modi had to say. He said that the Indian economy had revived since 2014 and American businesses were confident of making investments in India.
Pichai also told ANI that he was excited about GST and was excited about the July 1 rollout. Most of the CEOs described the session with PM Modi as 'optimistic'.
US President Donald Trump had earlier described PM Modi as a 'true friend' on Twitter.
