Robert Vadra who lost his sister to a drunk driver wants Supreme Court to revist its liquor ban order

Many of you might know that Robert Vadra lost his sister when she was just 33 years old.

His sister Michelle Vadra was killed by a drunk driver on Delhi-Jaipur highway 16 years ago in April 2001.

When you ask a victim like him about Supreme Court’s decision on banning liquor closed by state and national highway he would surely support Supreme Court decision, however Mr. Vadra doesn’t seem to be happy with SC’s decision.

He wrote a post of Facebook and said – “The SC order banning the sale of liquor near national & state highways is worthy of respect and commendation. It will be a big step forward towards road safety”. He further wrote – “However some respectable establishments might be adversely affected while having a record of adhering to rules and not allowing patrons/ customers to exceed limits of consumption”.

Robert Vadra who is also the son-in-law of Congress president Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji wants Supreme Court to revisit its decision and do modifications.

Just to remind everyone that Supreme Court recently banned liquor sell near to State and National highways considering the number of cases reported by drunk and drive.
