Modi govt is all set to plan "One Nation One Market" in agricultural sector very much similar to GST.
This will be the biggest reform in the section of agriculture and farming of India. The process was set in motion after PM Narendra Modi inaugurated an electronic national agricultural market (eNAM) platform in 2016 which in turn expected a huge income rise almost double of farmers by 2022.
This will add up with a wide of reforms to the required amendments for joining e-NAM which includes allowing setting up of markets, direct sale of farmer to buyer, no role of middlemen, more profit to farmers.
It will help allow inter-state trade at a common price and will avail farmer a wider choice of market.
